The Luna Music System is a high quality, reasonably priced, two-channel music system featuring:
- Class D Amplification
Our Class D amplifier technology is 10 times more energy efficient than conventional amplifiers. Luna uses less electric power than desktop stereo systems. Yet its 125 watts per channel has all the power needed to drive our audiophile or other quality speakers to loud levels. The sound is clear, detailed, and very musical.
- XBL2 Hemp Fiber Woofers
Advanced XBL2 technology allows an overall 40% reduction in magnet and metal volume while providing superior bass response. The composite hemp cones use a high proportion of renewable materials, while offering superior tensile strength and light weight. The result — Luna woofers are extremely stiff and non-resonant, with incredible midrange clarity and linearity — and deep bass output.
- Bamboo Speaker Cabinets
Why Bamboo? Bamboo grows rapidly and is renewable. It’s beautiful, both in looks and sound quality. Its natural finish requires little chemical treatment. Lighter than other materials, it saves energy when shipped. Plus, the resonant character of bamboo produces a rich sound quality.
CD/Receiver
Specifications: Remote-controlled CD receiver, AM/FM tuner section. 125 watt/ch Class D output stage, SPDIF digital input (optical and coaxial), two line-level inputs, and two line-level outputs (Subwoofer Out, Preamp Out). USB jack supplies MP3 player power. Amplifier modules can be switched off for improved pre-amp section sound quality when used separately. Tuner section: 20 user-definable AM/FM presets.
